James Whitehorn

Senior Clinical Research Fellow

James is a Senior Clinical Research Fellow at the Pandemic Sciences Institute working on a dengue clinical trial with Sophie Yacoub and her team.

He is a consultant in infectious diseases and microbiology at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. He has a MSc and a PhD from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and a fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists.

He was based at OUCRU in Vietnam between 2011 and 2015 conducting research on dengue pathogenesis and clinical management.
