Mpiti Mosothoane

Programme Officer

I joined PSI as a Programme Officer supporting the Africa Pandemic Sciences Collaborative. In this capacity, I contribute to the strategic coordination and execution of programme activities, working in close collaboration with stakeholders to ensure the initiative achieves its objectives in promoting innovation, enhancing collaboration, and supporting impactful research across the Continent.

Prior to joining PSI, I developed a strong foundation in international development through extensive experience in the humanitarian NGO sector. Working in both English and French, I have successfully supported project management, programme design, and implementation across multiple countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, often in complex and challenging operational contexts. These roles have required adaptability, cross-cultural competence, and a results-oriented approach to delivering programmes in diverse political and social environments.

I hold an MSc in African Studies from the University of Oxford and an MSc in International Public Administration & Politics from Roskilde University in Denmark.
