Fiona Welply

Fiona is the Administrative Officer at the Pandemic Sciences Institute, and works closely with the PSI Lead for Research Strategy, Delivery and Culture, and the PSI Business Manager. She provides high-quality administrative and organisational support across PSI, acting as a key point of contact for a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Fiona supports the planning and delivery of meetings, events and initiatives across the Institute, and works with members of the senior leadership team to support their priorities and operational needs.

Fiona joined the University in 2019 and has held a range of professional services roles. She previously worked in Research Support within Research Services for over five years, and most recently as Centre Manager for INET Oxford at the Oxford Martin School. Prior to joining the University, Fiona worked in academic publishing at Routledge, part of the Taylor & Francis Group. She holds a BA (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Birmingham.
