My research focuses on machine learning for real-world health and social systems, with a particular emphasis on developing prediction models using real-world data. My work spans biological and infectious disease applications, population health, and social care, aiming to support prediction, early risk detection, and decision-making in complex real-world settings. I am also interested in broader questions around robust and trustworthy AI, including how to make predictive models more reliable, transparent, and useful in practice.
