The deadline for abstract submissions and bursary applications for the International Pandemic Sciences Conference 2025  has been extended to 23:59 GMT on Wednesday 26 February.

Hosted by PSI, the conference will bring together leading experts, policymakers, industry representatives, and researchers for two days of presentations, discussions, and networking on 30 June – 1 July 2025.

This year’s theme, Getting Ahead of the Curve, will focus on global collaboration to better predict, identify, and control epidemic and pandemic threatsWe are pleased to add an outstanding line-up of plenary speakers to the conference programme. 

Abstract submissions

Delegates joining the conference in Oxford are invited to submit an abstract, for a chance to give an oral or poster presentation across any of our conference topics. Submit an abstract before the deadline of 23:59 GMT on Wednesday 26 February.

Bursary applications

Our bursary scheme supports delegates from Low- and Middle-Income Countries to attend the conference in Oxford. We encourage applicants to submit abstracts alongside their bursary applications.

Scientific programme

The two-day conference will feature scientific and networking sessions including: 

  • Plenary sessions with high-profile international speakers exploring key topics such as the prediction and surveillance of infectious disease outbreaks, next-generation disease control, and bridging the gap between policy and on-the-ground responses.

  • Parallel sessions for focused discussions on specific research topics, with poster sessions offering a platform for early-career researchers to present their work.

  • An early-career workshop, networking and learning session on Sunday 29 June providing early-career delegates with valuable opportunities to engage with experts and peers.
