Susan Khader

Research & Policy Officer, GloPID-R

I work as a Research and Policy Officer for the Global Research Collaboration for Infectious Disease Preparedness (GloPID-R). I support the Data Sharing working group and have been heavily involved in supporting GloPID-R’s response to outbreaks including monkeypox, severe acute hepatitis of unknown aetiology, and Sudan Virus Disease in Uganda.

Having initially trained as a dentist, I have worked across a variety of health settings in the UK’s National Health Service (NHS). Driven by a passion to further my understanding in global public health, I enrolled in the MSc in International Health and Tropical Medicine at the University of Oxford. After graduating, before working with GloPID-R, I worked with the International Severe Acute Respiratory and emerging Infections Consortium (ISARIC) on a project to scale-up a training initiative, CREDO (Clinical Research During Outbreaks).
