Zoe Li
Head of Cell Therapies
I hold a DPhil in Biomedical Engineering from University of Oxford, and have been working in ATMP area for 20 years, developing translational technologies and products for cell & gene therapy development and GMP manufacture. My technical expertise is on process and analytical development and scalable manufacture of ATMPs with regulatory compliance. I have extensive experience in business development, project management and leadership in cellular therapy development and commercialisation through various roles in university spinouts, biotech companies and CDMOs.
Joining Clinical BioManufacturing Facility (CBF), I lead the Cell Therapy program, a major contributor to a new initiative, the Oxford Centre for Advanced Cellular Therapeutics (OxACT), and have overall responsibility for the establishment and ongoing management of a Cell Therapy team at the CBF, accelerating clinical translation of novel advanced cell therapies by linking proof-of-concept technologies to the generation of advanced therapy medicinal products that can be used in first-in-human clinical trials.
