The Horby Group at the Pandemic Sciences Institute, University of Oxford is looking to employ a Senior Clinical Research Fellow to support our clinical research portfolio. The Horby group is one of the world’s leading clinical research groups in emerging infectious diseases and is engaged in an international program of clinical and epidemiological research to prepare for and respond to present and future epidemics and pandemics.

You will be responsible for identifying new clinical research opportunities that will make a substantive contribution to improving the care of patients with epidemic and pandemic prone infectious diseases. You will develop an independent research portfolio on the clinical characterization and care of patients with epidemic and pandemic prone infectious diseases, and you will ensure any patient-related research complies with internationally accepted research practices and are of the highest possible quality. You will be responsible for establishing procedures for the safe, effective, and compliant delivery of clinical research, including training and governance. You will maintain good standing with your professional body and conduct yourself at all times in accordance with established GMC principles of Good Medical Practice.
