Cross-cutting programmes

PSI’s strength is its interdisciplinary approach to solving global health challenges related to epidemics and pandemics. Our cross-cutting programmes bring focused effort – across all our research themes – to add value to challenging areas of pandemic science research Jane to add.  Find out more on each programme page.

  • Henipavirus programme – This programme brings together a range of expertise and perspectives at the PSI, from ethics through to vaccine development and trials, to counter the threat posed by these highly pathogenic viruses. We work in collaboration with partners in Bangladesh and ?

Collaborative programmes

This could be an opportunity to showcase other important collaborations, but for whom we don’t have MoUs. For example, where we host a secretariat. They could be shown with a logo and/or an image. We would need a sentence or two of intro text. However, how do we do this without excluding some? Or do these get displayed under Research/Programmes?[LW2] [SN3]  Examples could include:

EPSRC Future Vaccine Manufacturing Research Hub (Vax-Hub)

ISARIC (International Severe Acute Respiratory and emerging Infection Consortium)

RECOVERY trial

Pandemic PACT (website not yet launched)

GloPID-R

UK Pandemic Sciences Network

The Ethox centre
